NEW DELHI: Ishan Aggarwal’s 78 helped Mont Fort School beat Gyant Bharti School by 19 runs and qualify for the super league stage of the Boost Cup under-17 inter-school cricket tournament here on Wednesday.
In another match, CRPF Public School defeated G. D. Salwan School by eight wickets to move into the super league.
The scores: Mont Fort School 206 in 35 overs (Ishan Aggarwal 78, Dhruv Kumar 45, Sumant Jain 30, Chanakya Batra five for 23) bt Gyan Bharti School 187 in 32.5 overs (Abhishek Chaudhary 86, Swapandeep Singh 58, Sumant Jain three for 31, Bharat Arora three for 32); G. D. Salwan School 111 in 25 overs (Akshay Oberai 31, Samarth Singh three for 28, Varun Kumar three for 29) lost to CRPF Public School 114 for two in 14.4 overs (Jasbir Singh 37 not out, Varun Kumar 30).
