THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram MP Pannian Ravindran has urged the State government to take urgent steps to resume work on the stalled infrastructure projects for the capital city. A pressnote issued by the MP here said many of the projects including roads, overbridges, water supply, drainage, sewerage and coastal development had fallen by the wayside, causing hardships to the city residents. “Work on many roads has been abandoned halfway through. As a result, potholes have developed into deep trenches endangering motorists and pedestrians. The road conditions have already claimed several lives,” Mr. Ravindran said.
