Read Tagore’s Gitanjali on your cell
P.R. Harikumar, a lecturer at the Sree Sankara College, Kalady, who had made mobile phone editions of Ramayana and Thirukkural, has come up with a new offering. This time, it is Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali. By downloading the 95 KB JAR file into the mobile phone, one can read all 103 songs in the English version on the phone screen. Any Java-enabled phone can be used to download the file.A phone novel ‘Neelakkannukal’ (Blue eyes) in Malayalam
and a phone magazine ‘ZoomIndia’ in English were also launched by him.
