Railway clarification
Thiruvananthapuram: The Southern Railway has said that the 2620/2619 Mangalore-Lokmanya Tilak- Mangalore Matsyagandha Express has not been extended to Thiruvananthapuram Central.
In a release here, the railways pointed out that confusion was created since the empty rake of the 2619 Matsyagandha Express on arrival in Mangalore was used for running the 6348 Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Express. In the other direction, the empty rake of the 6347 Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Express is used to run the 2620 Matsyagandha Express. “These are two separate trains and not a single train,” the release said.
