BJP, VHP team to meet Governor

BANGALORE: A delegation of leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal will met Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Friday to discuss issues pertaining to the Datta Jayanthi celebrations at the Bababudanagiri shrine in Chikmagalur district in December.

Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, BJP State Secretary and Chikmagalur MLA C.T. Ravi appealed to the Governor to take steps for the peaceful conduct of the Datta Jayanthi celebrations and the “Shoba Yatra”.
