New website of Haryana dept. launched

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary (Finance and Planning) S. P. Sharma on Thursday launched the website of the Economic and Statistical Organisation and Planning Department, Haryana ( www.esaharyana.gov.in).

The web site contains information about the activities and Citizen Charter of the Department, present set-up, reports and e-publications, press releases and various circulars of the State Government.

All aspects

Mr. Sharma said the website would provide information to the people about all important socio-economic aspects of the State’s economy such as area, population, agriculture, irrigation, forests, animal husbandry, power, industries, labour, roads, transport, health, education, cooperation, public finance, prices and State income.

All the data since the inception of Haryana in the form of query- based bilingual software of State Statistical Abstract would be available on the website.
