Pandemonium at municipal meeting

ADILABAD: Adilabad MLA C. Ramchander Reddy on Thursday offered to apologise on behalf of chairman Digambar Rao Patil for the events during the last general body meeting.

Angry councillors demanded an apology from the chairman for exiting the meeting after unilaterally declaring the agenda as passed during the meeting in question. Several councillors belonging to TDP and some belonging to the ruling Congress created a din while demanding apology.

They complained that garbage was not being lifted, nor some of the streets being cleaned.
