NEW DELHI: A team of NDPL power discom officials were attacked by a mob while carrying out an inspection drive at the jhugghi-jhonpri colony in Inderpuri on Thursday. “The incident occurred when the NDPL enforcement team along with CISF and the police discovered that the meter installed at the premises of a resident, Mohan Lal Daima, was tampered,” an NDPL spokesperson said.

“Mohan Lal Daima resisted the inspection and along with his son Mohinder Daima and others manhandled the NDPL team members. A crowd also gathered on the spot and assaulted the team.”
