Motorcyclist fatally hit by van

KANCHEEPURAM: One person was killed and 11 others were injured in a road accident involving a motorcycle and a maxi-cab at Kolapakkam on Wednesday night.

According to police, the accident took place when a motorcyclist, Raghupathi (35) of Oonamancheri, came out of a petrol bunk on Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road. He was fatally knocked down by the maxi-cab proceeding towards Kelambakkam from Vandalur.
