RK’s recreates traditional shopping flavour

THIS festival RK’s has recreated a traditional Indian theme, Sowbhagyavathi Bhava, a powerful Indian concept. At every store RK’s has created traditional village walls with Rangoli patterns and embellished it with traditional icons of prosperity: lotus, white elephants, lotus pond and a temple bell which customers can ring.

“Dasara and Diwali are excellent occasions to connect to our rich heritage”, says Kamlesh Shah, Managing Director, Rajkamal Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

“At RK’s we are ushering in a celebration of prosperity. Our festival promotions are richly laden with cash offers. Every customer can win cash up to Rs. 1 lakh as a sure gift. Plus, in the daily draw a customer can win Rs. 50,000. Also in the festive mega draw, a customer can win Rs. 10 lakhs hard cash. A LCD customer can win Rs. 1 lakh worth of Gold or silver. Buzz-RK’s Digital Lounge for Laptops and mobile phones offers 1.5 lakhs worth of prizes including a Bajaj Pulsar Bike”, he adds.

The sure gift to customers is in the form of a beautiful dye cut lotus flower. The lucky draw coupons are in the form of traditional yantras. RK’s had also ensured that customers get what they coming for. Every store has a huge range of LCD’s at truly low prices. They have a team of experts who help customers arrive at intelligent purchase decisions.

As a brand that is more than three decades old, RK’s have the responsibility to connect to the rich past and the aspirations of today’s young generation. This is aptly reflected in there initiatives. RK’s Digital Lounge - a shop-in-shop for Laptops, Mobile Phones, Handycams, Apple i-Pods, MP3 Players and accessories. This is a trendy and youth oriented initiative.

RK’s had come out with innovative schemes: like the Philips LCD TV exchange offer, where customers can get as much as Rs.15,000 on their old TV.
