Baalu’s assurance to Patnaik

NEW DELHI: Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik called on Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T.R. Baalu and secured an assurance that the Centre would immediately grant technical sanction for strengthening of the National Highway- 215.

During the discussion, the Chief Minister made a request for improving and strengthening the NH- 215 (Panikoili to Rajamunda) and Mr. Baalu told him that the technical sanction for the Rs. 95 crore project would be granted immediately. To improve the condition of national highways in Orissa, the Ministry would allocate an additional Rs. 45 crore.
