Chandigarh: To ascertain the volume of goods and passenger traffic in Punjab, the Planning Commission of India will conduct the second round of “Total Transport System Study” in the State from this coming Tuesday. The survey will be conducted for 48 hours from October 23 to 25 in 12 districts, including Amritsar, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mansa, Patiala, Sangrur and Muktsar, at 29 check-posts. It will be carried out from October 23 to 30 in SAS Nagar at one check-post.
