Mahila Congress stages dharna

MALAPPURAM: Activists of the Mahila Congress staged a dharna in front of the taluk office at Tirurangadi on Thursday demanding resignation of Minister for Health P.K. Sreemathy from the Cabinet.

District Congress Committee general secretary K.M. Girija inaugurated the dharna. District panchayat member Indira Bhai presided over the function.

V. Madhusoodhanan, DCC secretary, addressed the protesters.

Kalyani Ramachandran, Mahila Congress mandalam secretary, welcomed the gathering.
