TIRUMALA: Tirupathi legislator M.Venktaramana on Friday donated 73 cents of land worth Rs.68.54 lakh to the Tirmala Tirupathi Devasthanam. The MLA handed over the documents of the land located in the survey no.242 in the Nagari municipality limits to TTD Executive Officer K.V. Ramanachary.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr. Ramanachary said that the MLA has set an example to others.

When reporters questioned the legislator regarding the controversy over the land he had donated on an earlier occasion in the same municipality limits, Mr. Venkataramana said that his opponents are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill only to gain unwanted political mileage and further shot back that if at all if is any controversy regarding the title deed, it should have been brought to his notice rather than crying wolf.
