Mammen Mathew re-nominated Reuters trustee

CHENNAI: Mammen Mathew, Editor, Malayala Manorama, has been re-nominated as a trustee of Reuters, the global news agency.

The Reuters Founders Share Company nominated him again for a period of five years, a press release said. Among others re-nominated are: Pehr Gyllenhammar, chairman of the company, and Anson Chan, the last chief secretary of British Hong Kong, and Sir William Purves, former chairman of HSBC.

The company also nominated Sachio Semmoto, founder of eAccess, Japan’s first global IP/telecom company, as a trustee, a press release said.
