NEW DELHI: Shubhankar Sharda’s all-round performance (three for 28 and 55) helped Sardar Patel Vidyalaya to a two-wicket win against Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram in the league match of the Boost Cup under-17 inter-school cricket tournament here on Friday.
The scores: Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram 169 in 39.4 overs (Trigun Das 39, Prateek Soni 33, Shubhankar Sharda three for 28) lost to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya 171 for eight in 38.2 overs (Shubhankar Sharda 55, Kartik Abhi 45, Prashant Chopra 37).
St. Mark’s School 87 in 31.2 overs (Jaswant Singh 36, Jitender Singh four for 18, Manoj Kashyap three for 18, Afzar Hussain three for 16) lost to Muni International School 88 for two in 13.2 overs (Mohit Sharma 36, Manish Kumar 39).
