Killed in road accident

VISAKHAPATNAM: Pilla Mahalakshmi (70) succumbed to injuries she sustained in a road accident on the Kancharapalem Mettu Road on Friday, according to the Fifth Town police.

She suffered head injuries when an autorickshaw hit her while she was crossing the road. Mahalakshmi died while undergoing treatment at King George Hospital. The driver was identified.
