All set for Cooperative Congress

KOCHI: Minister for Cooperation G. Sudhakaran said here on Sunday that the government was contemplating more cooperative institutions in the health and education sectors.

The Minister was addressing a meeting convened in connection with the 6th Cooperative Congress to be held here from October 26.

The Congress will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Agriculture Sharad Pawar.

Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy will deliver the keynote address and Fisheries Minister S. Sarma will deliver the message on the occasion.

Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Union Minister Vayalar Ravi, and other Ministers are expected to speak at various sessions.
