Governor orders transfer

PUDUCHERRY: The Lieutenant Governor has ordered the transfer and posting of A. Vincent Rayar, Deputy Collector (Revenue), North as Deputy Transport Commissioner of Puducherry.

He has also revoked an earlier order appointing P. Mathew Samuel, Project Director, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), as Managing Director, Swadeshee Bharathee Textile Mills Limited. As per the new order, Mr. Samuel would continue to hold the post of Project Director, DRDA, with additional charge of Swadeshee Bharathee Textile Mills Limited as Managing Director.
