Jaipur: Four persons, including three pilgrims staying in a roadside tent, were crushed to death and three others injured in a multiple vehicle collision near Ratangarh in Rajasthan’s Churu district on Sunday. The deceased were attending the famous Balaji fair of Salasar town, circle inspector Rajendra said over phone from the accident site. The mishap occurred when a sports utility vehicle carrying pilgrims was hit by a car approaching from the opposite side at Latasar village, 13 kms from Ratangarh. The SUV then rammed into a roadside tent in which pilgrims were resting before hitting a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist and three of the pilgrims in the tent died on the spot.
