Meet to discuss curriculum

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister M.A. Baby will convene a conference of representatives of recognised teachers’ organisations here on Monday morning to discuss quality improvement in education. The discussions will cover the Curriculum Framework 2007 drawn up by the State Council for Education Research and Training, in service training for teachers, organisation of school festivals and related issues. The Government is also organising a seminar in the afternoon for discussion of the framework. Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the seminar. The Education Minister will preside. — Special Correspondent
