MLA’s official residence sealed

CHENNAI: The Government has sealed the official residence of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhgam MLA A.K. Bose, who was suspended from the Assembly for throwing a watch ward staff member’s cap at Speaker R. Avudaiappan.

Subsequently, he was suspended from the Assembly. The resolution moved to suspend him also said that he would lose all perks of an MLA during the period that would end 10 days after the start of the next session.

Security has been enhanced at the MLA’s hostel where Mr. Bose was allotted a house in the ‘C’ wing. — Special Correspondent
