Vijayawada: The Krishna District Cricket Association will organise the second Devineni Venkataramana and Praneetha Memorial Trophy ‘B’ division league from the last week of October. Harakumar memorial ACA Central Zone under-17 inter-district cricket tournament that concluded at Guntur on Saturday. Krishna finished second with nine points. Venue shiftedTrials to select the ACA Central Zone under-19 women’s team, scheduled to be held at Bhimavaram, have been shifted to Vijayawada due to the prevailing inclement weather. The trials will now be held at Vijayawada’s IGMC Stadium on October 22 and the players should report at 1 p.m. at the venue. A two–day selection match will also be held on October 23 and 24.
