Homage paid to slain cops

NEW DELHI: The Director-General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, V.K. Joshi, on Sunday paid homage to the personnel of all police officers who had laid their lives in the course of duty.

Mr. Joshi was speaking on the occasion of “Police Commemoration Day” which is celebrated in memory of Central Reserve Police Force personnel who gave their lives fighting the Chinese Patrol at Ladakh in 1959.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Joshi exhorted all police officers to dedicate themselves to the unity and integrity of the country.
