‘Raj Bhavan chalo’ rally

CHAMARAJANAGAR: The president of the State sugarcane growers association, Kurubur Shanthakumar, has called upon the State sugarcane growing farmers to participate in the “Raj Bhavan chalo” rally organised on October 29 at Bangalore, to urge the Government to solve the problems related to sugarcane growers in the State. Addressing presspersons here today, Mr. Shanthakumar alleged that the most of the sugarcane factories in the State are exploiting the farmers without giving a proper price for sugarcane. He said sugar factories were deceiving 35 lakh sugarcane farmers.
