THAJAVUR: Heavy rain lashed Thanjavur and Tiruvarur districts on Saturday. Rainfall recorded till 8 a.m. on Sunday: Orathanadu 86.4 mm; Peravurani 50.4 mm; Thiruvaiyaru 48 mm; Valangaiman 23.2 mm; Tirukattupalli 22 mm; Budalur 18.2 mm; Papanasam 17 mm; Manjalar 15 mm; Anaikarai 14 mm; Pattukottai 13.6 mm; Thiruthuraipoondi 13 mm; Madukkur 12.6 mm; ; Thanjavur, Kumbakonam and Mannargudi 10 mm each.
