Belgaum
Belgaum: A film festival featuring some of the golden hits from the Kannada screen will be organised as part of the Kittur Utsav-2007 from October 22 to 25. According to official sources, four films will be screened in three theatres —Shivshakti in Kittur, Sangam & Bharat in Bailhongal and Poornima in Nesargi. The tickets for the shows have been subsidised and cost Rs. 3, Rs. 5 and Rs. 8 a head. The films to be screened are “Veerarani Kittur Channamma”, “Nagar Havu”, “Bangarada Manushya” and “Bandhana”. — Staff Correspondent
