Bangalore to host World Travel Awards

Bangalore: Bangalore will be the host of World Travel Award’s first ever Asia, Australasia and Indian Ocean Awards Ceremony on November 2. The event will be attended by local and international industry leaders, decision-makers and media.

The awards ceremony was scheduled to take place in Bangkok, “but a number of factors influenced this move, critically the tourism interest focused in India,” say the organisers. Bangalore was chosen as the venue as “it is said to be one of the most hip and happening cities in India.”
