Krishnagiri: Collector Santhosh Babu on Monday inspected the progress of development works being executed under the Anaithu Gramam Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (AGAMT) in Hosur union. The Collector inspected road-laying works from Bagalur to Kokkarasanapalli and Berigai to Sudapuram at Rs. 28.50 lakh.
Mr. Babu also inspected the ongoing construction of a burial ground at Onnalvadi at Rs. 2 lakh and creation of a percolation pond at Edayanallur at Rs. 3.9 lakh. He directed the officials concerned to ensure quality in all the works. The Collector instructed officials to display details about the nature of work, project cost and date of completion in a notice board in the villages. He instructed them to expedite development works on time.
