‘No truck with Congress’

HUMNABAD: “There is no proposal from the Congress to forge an alliance with the Janata Dal (Secular) again for forming a government in the State,” said Janata Dal (Secular) State unit president Merajuddin Patel. He told presspersons on Monday that any decision on joining hands with the Congress was left to the party High Command. The decision of the High Command would be binding on the members of the party. To a question, he said: “Joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party was a closed chapter.” — Staff Correspondent
