MES Udyogamandal reigns supreme

KOCHI: Host MES Udyogamandal School (Eloor) won the overall championship in the all-Kerala badminton tournament for ICSE and ISC Schools at the Udyogamdal Club here. The school won eight of the 10 titles at stake.

Lieyakath Ali Khan, Secretary, MES Udyogamandal School Managing Committee, gave away the prizes.

The final placings: Boys: Primary singles: 1. M.R. Arjun (MES Udyogamandal), 2. Elvin Saju Thomas (Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Kayamkulam). ICSE singles: 1. Sharon Raphael (MES Udyl), 2. Nithin Thomas Mathew (St Thomas Residential, Tvm). ICSE doubles: 1. Sharon Raphael/ Ram Vivek (MES Udyl), 2. Daryl Davis/ Steve Davis (Hari Sree Vidya Nidhi, Tsr). ISC singles: 1. Deepak Venkitesh (MES Udyl), 2. Lekhan Dershan (Trivandrum Intl.) ISC d oubles: 1. Deepak Venkitesh/ Vinay Govind (MES Udyl), 2. Ashwin Joseph/ M. Arun Jyothis (Trivandrum Intl.)
