Farmers take out procession

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Hundreds of farmers belonging to the Zilla Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene took out a procession here on Sunday urging the Government to fulfil various demands, including the implementation of the Kabini Lift Irrigation Project (second stage) and fixing remunerative prices for agricultural produce.

The procession made its way from the Travellers Bungalow to the District Office Complex where a memorandum was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.
