Kurukshetra: Nine students of Kurukshetra University have been suspended after they were found consuming alcohol in their hostel rooms. A team of hostel wardens raided the hostels on Sunday night and found 14 students drinking, university sources said on Monday. While nine students were suspended, five were imposed a fine of Rs 250 each. KU Vice-Chancellor R.P. Hooda had directed hostel authorities to conduct raids in the hostels after complaints by some students.
