Centre to consider plea for IIM at Eluru

New Delhi: The HRD Ministry will consider the demand for setting up an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Eluru in the State. This assurance was given by HRD Minister Arjun Singh to Congress MP K S Rao.

Mr Rao had urged the Ministry to set up a prestigious business school at Eluru in West Godavari district to meet the aspirations of people in the coastal area. He said that Mr Singh had promised to give due consideration to his request while taking a decision on the location of new IIMs in the country. -PTI
