Martyrs’ Day observed

KOLAR: Deputy Commissioner G. Ramachandra, on Sunday, recalled the selfless services of police personnel in maintaining law and order in the country. Addressing a function at Police Parade Grounds here to observe Police Martyrs’ Day, Mr. Ramachandra said it is the duty of every citizen to remember the services of the police who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Superintendent of Police B. Dayanand spoke on the occasion. Chickballapur SP Krishna Bhat, Deputy SPs A. Muni Reddy and Narayanappa also participated. — Staff Correspondent
