Private surveyors for Jalayagnam

HYDERABAD: As many as 438 private surveyors will be appointed shortly through outsourcing to expedite land acquisition process and thus speed up the implementation of the various projects taken up under Jalayagnam. Meanwhile, Major Irrigation Minister P. Lakshmaiah asked officials to take steps to recruit 1,350 engineers in various categories through the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission as directed by the Chief Minister, to speed up the Jalayagnam works. –Special Correspondent
