Dunlop to reopen its unit on November 1

CHENNAI: Dunlop India Ltd will reopen its unit in Chennai on November 1.

According to an official press release, the management and the workers’ union signed the agreement in the presence of Labour Minister T.M. Anbarasan and Labour Commissioner A. Sukumaran.

Maintenance work will start from October 24 and the actual production from November 1.

The Chennai unit suspended its operations on August 7 this year. — Special Correspondent
