Subramanyan claims five titles

CHENNAI: M.S. Subramanyan of Canara Bank won five titles in the recently concluded Tambaram Social and Literary Club annual tournament, including double crowns in table tennis and carrom.

Subramanyan also triumphed in ball badminton (fives).

The results:

Table tennis: Singles: M.S. Subramanyan bt N. Venkataraman (SBI) 11-2, 11-4, 11-5; Doubles: M.S. Subramanyan & R. Ganesan bt R. Balaji & Gangaraju (High Court) 11-9, 11-8, 11-6.

Carrom: Singles: M.S. Subramanyan bt R. Ganesan 25-11, 25-0; Doubles: M.S. Subramanyan & Viswanathan bt M.S. Venkataraman & Baskar 25-14, 25-10.
