NEW DELHI: Two young men were injured in separate accidents involving Blueline buses in the Capital on Monday.
Twenty-one-year-old Yogesh sustained injuries when a Blueline plying on route 522 -- from Arya Samaj Road to Khanpur -- hit his scooter near Super Bazar in Connaught Place around 12-30 p.m. Yogesh, a resident of Mangolpuri, was discharged from hospital after first-aid. The bus driver, Ramesh, was arrested.
In another accident reported around 1-15 p.m., 35-year-old Sudhanshu sustained injuries on the face and other parts of the body when a Mudrika Blueline bus hit his motorcycle near Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal. Sudhanshu, a resident of I.P. Extension, has been admitted to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences.
The Hazrat Nizamuddin police have registered a case of causing injury due to rash and negligent driving and arrested the bus driver, Pramod Kumar.
