Computer centre inaugurated

Bangalore: A computer and information centre at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies and Research Centre in Bangalore University, Jananabharathi campus, was inaugurated here on Monday.

Inaugurating the new centre, Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor H.A. Ranganath said even though computers had today become almost a household item, people in the rural areas and deprived sections of society did not have access to computers.

Prof. Ranganath hoped that the information centre will help bridge this gap and advised students to use it to gain more knowledge.
