Increase in milk prices condemned

NEW DELHI: The Delhi State Committee of the CPI (M) has condemned the recent increases in milk prices in the Capital.

In a statement, the party said this was the third hike in milk prices in a little over a year.

The CPI (M) also demanded that the Centre take immediate steps to bring down prices of essential commodities. It should take strict action against hoarders and ban forward trading in food grains, it said.
