Symposium on meteorology

Bangalore: The Indian Meteorological Society is organising “TROPMET 2007: advances in meteorology and their applications” between December 18 and 20 in Bhopal. The event is sponsored by the India Meteorological Department, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology.

The symposium will look at the following themes — observational techniques; data analysis and forecasting methodology; sectoral applications - agriculture, aviation, climate change; and natural hazards. To register or submit papers, email D.P Dubey at tropmet2007@yahoo.co.in
