Boy electrocuted by snapped power cable

ATTUR: A nine-year-old school boy was electrocuted when he accidentally came in contact with a power cable, which snapped and fell on the ground during the rain in Nathakarai village near Talavasal on Monday.

Police said the deceased was identified as Sivasankaran of Nathakarai, studying in a private school.

He was returning from school, when the incident took place. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
