Malaysia Airlines’ value-for-money offer
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, on Tuesday, announced its new value-for-money promotional deal targeting business class travellers.
On the purchase of one business class ticket, a traveller will be entitled to a waiver of 80 per cent of the fare on the next business ticket to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The offer is valid for travel till November 15. Speaking to reporters here, Christopher Yek Hua Hong, Regional Manager (South Asia) of Malaysia Airlines said that the tactical promotional offer is aligned with Malaysia Airline’s current flight enhancement from the Bangalore gateway. The airline would begin operation of its fourth weekly flight from Bangalore, with effect from November 3. The new flight — Airbus 330-300 — leaves Bangalore at 10 p.m. on Saturdays to reach Kuala Lumpur at 4.45 a.m. on Sunday. The timing is strategically arranged so as to offer connecting flights to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and other cities in Malaysia. The airline is offering a special introductory fare for the first additional flight from Bangalore for economy class passengers.
