Microsoft introduces UC software

NEW DELHI: Microsoft India on Tuesday announced the availability of its Unified Communications (UC) and Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) software that will help organisations streamline workplace communication and steeply reduce the cost of the average Internet telephony. The software will enable employees within organisations to be able to communicate and collaborate through emails, phone calls, instant messaging and video conferencing through any device, such as computers, cell phones or even a public phone, while in office or on the move. — Staff Reporter
