SPi Global to scale up personnel

CHENNAI: SPi Global Solutions, a $200-million Philippines-based BPO is planning to hire 1,000 persons in six to seven months. Of this, 360 would be content specialists. At present it had a headcount of 227 and was increasing 40 per cent annually, said Ernest L. Cu, Vice-Chairman, SPi, at a press conference here on Tuesday. Apart from Chennai, the company had facilities in Puducherry and Coimbatore, he said. — Staff Correspondent
