Mixed luck for St. Albert’s

KOCHI: St. Albert’s HSS had mixed luck in the district-level hockey tournaments organised by the Ernakulam District Hockey Association in connection with the 60th birthday celebrations of local industrialist V.S. Ramakrishnan here.

St. Albert’s (Ernakulam) defeated St. Joseph’s HS (Pachalam) 4-2 via the tie-breaker (goalless at the end of regulation time) and won the junior title.

However, it lost the schools’ trophy to SN HSS (Thrikkanarvattom) 5-6 in sudden-death.

The teams were 1-1 at the end of the regulation period and 4-4 after the tie-breaker.
