Badminton tournament from October 27

NEW DELHI: The second Pramod Mahajan prize-money badminton tournament will be held at the Siri Fort Sports Complex hall here from October 27 to 30.

With Rs. 5 lakh as prize-money, the event is the richest State-level badminton tournament in the country.

The tournament will also serve as a trial to select the Delhi teams for the senior and junior National championships this season.

The tournament will feature events in all categories from under-13 to veterans. Entries close at 6 p.m. on October 24 and can be sent to Vikram Bhasin at the venue from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
