Bangalore: Mysore Zone gained a 39-run first-innings lead over Bangalore City in a KSCA under-15 inter-zonal tournament match that ended in a draw here on Tuesday. Mysore, bolstered by Parikshith’s 105, scored 235 for nine in the stipulated 75-over first innings and in reply, Bangalore City scored 196 for five in 69.3 overs. The scores: Mysore Zone 235 for nine in 75 overs (Parikshith 105, L. Suchith 42) drew with Bangalore City 196 for five in 69.3 overs (Adarsh 54, Girija Shankar 52); Bangalore Zone 170 in 66.2 overs drew with Mangalore Zone 204 for five in 75 overs (U. Nihal 107 n.o.); Tumkur Zone 246 for two in 68 overs (Md. Sohail 109, M. Jayesh 95 n.o.) drew with Raichur Zone. (Match started late due to overnight rain); Dharwad Zone 103 in 40.5 overs and 208 for eight in 66 overs (Ganesh Kangralkar 59, Shashank Hulmani 41, Karthik four for 54) drew with Shimoga Zone 207 in 75 overs (Vikram Venkatesh 53, Karthikeya 47, Malik Shirur seven for 52).
