Training camp for NCC cadets

BERHAMPUR: A 10-day combined annual training camp and pre-Republic Day contingency parade selection camp of National Cadet Corps (NCC) is being held at the City College ground of the city since Oct 16.

Over 530 cadets, both boys and girls, from different parts of south Orissa are taking part in the major NCC camp. The camp has been organized by the third Orissa Medical Company NCC unit under Berhampur NCC Group. The commandant of the camp, Col. H.K.Sahau, said best cadets selected from this camp would again attend another camp for the selection of final list of cadets for the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.
